Barb began working as an Optometric Vision Therapist in April of 2005. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BS in Education/Special Education for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She received her Masters Degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University. She worked as a teacher/consultant for school districts in six different states. Barb, her husband, and her son moved from San Diego to Charleston after her husband retired from the U.S. Navy. They have decided to make Charleston their final destination!
